Overview

The Versatile Sand Shooter (for Hot Box Sand & Resin Coated Sand) is a professional foundry core shooter for hot box sand, resin coated sand, used to prepare the Specimen to Check Tensile Strength or Transverse strength (On demand). It is engineered for accurate, repeatable sand testing on the lab bench and shop floor.

Application

To prepare the Specimen to Check Tensile Strength or Transverse strength (On demand). Consists of pair of contrlled heated plates range up to 300Ë?C, dumbbell shape split tensile core box with handle. Sand shooting arrangement, suitable for hotbox sand & Resin coated sand. Requires Pneumatic air supply of 6 Kg/cm2.

Safety & care. Burning hazard the temperature is 230 °C. So take care. Do not handle without asbestos hand gloves. Clean the equipment by air gun after remove the specimen. Protect the core box from rusting; apply rust preventing oil when not in use. Take care of electric wiring. Keep it away from water. Positive earthing is a must. Use air for cleaning. Use dry air to get long life of cylinder. Remove the water collected in filter time to time. Air supply must be very dry (Ideal Dew point= -20 Deg C).
