Universal Sand Shooter (VUS)

Mechanism:

Shooting/ Blowing, Gas passing & purging. Fully automated cycle. User can set Amine passing time & air purging time.

Inbuilt amine evaporation mechanism.

Misc Spec.:
For Cold Box:

Consists of dumbbell / dog-bone shape split tensile core box, sand shooting arrangement, gassing & purging accessory, FRL unit suitable for cold box sand & heater with temp. indicator controller up to 230⁰c. Please inform supply specifications to adapt equipment accordingly (Default: 230v AC , 50Hz). Requires Pneumatic air supply of 6 Kg/cm2.

For Resin Coated Hot Box:
Additionally the unit consists of controlled heating arrangement to control temperature of curing along with timer to indicate end of curing time. Temperature and Time can be set.

Sand Type: Cold box sand, Hot Box/ Resin Coated sand

Test:Pre-requisite for tensile strength test for Cold box Sand, Hot Box/ Resin Coated sand.

Application:To prepare specimen from cold box sand or Hot Box/ Resin Coated sand for Tensile strength, and optionally transverse strength & Hot distortion tests.

Precautions:
Burning hazard: the temperature is 230^oC. Conform that the quantity of sand is sufficient for sample specimen at every preparation. Insure that the gassing accessory is on the Core box before pressing

Maintainance:

Clean the core box & core box support vents after continuous run.
