Overview

The Versatile High Dry Strength Attachment (for Universal Strength Machine (hydraulic) (VUN)) is a professional foundry testing machine for no-bake sand, oil sand, co2 sand. It is engineered for accurate, repeatable sand testing on the lab bench and shop floor.

Application

This attachment to Universal strength machine (Hydraulic) (VUN) is useful to determine the compression strength more than 13 Kg/cm2 up to 200 Kg/cm2. Other equipments which, one may have prior to acquiring this equipment would be niversal strength equipment mechanical (Hydraulic) (VUN) along with appropriate specimen preparation apparatus e.g For No-bake (Air set) Sand: Gang Compression Core Box (VGC) For CO2 Sand: Rammer with base block (VR+VRB), Split specimen tube (VST), CO2 Gassing accessory for Compression specimen (VOCA).

Safety & care. See the oil level once in a month. Do not use the attachment for the Test specimen having compressive strength more than 200 Kg/cm2 and shear strength more than 150 Kg/cm2. Clean the equipment after use. Protect the Parts from rusting. Apply rust preventing oil when not in use.
