Overview

The Versatile Splitting Strength Attachment is a professional foundry strength-test attachment for green sand, no-bake sand, oil sand, co2 sand. It is engineered for accurate, repeatable sand testing on the lab bench and shop floor.

Application

The splitting strength can be measured on Green cylindrical Test Specimen by putting the specimen in the attachment in such a way that, it will be compressed on the diameter. The specimen cracks along the diameter to give splitting strength. It can be used as an indirect measure for tensile strength testing of clay bonded sands. Consists of two splitting pads which can be used along with Universal strength machine (Digital) (VUD) OR Universal strength machine (Hydraulic) (VUN).

Safety & care. Clean the equipment after use. Protect the Parts from rusting Apply rust preventing oil when not in use.
