Consists of two splitting pads which can be used along with Universal strength machine (Digital) (VUD) OR Universal strength machine (Hydraulic) (VUN).

Test:Splitting strength
Application:
The splitting strength can be measured on Green cylindrical Test Specimen by putting the specimen in the attachment in such a way that, it will be compressed on the diameter. The specimen cracks along the diameter to give splitting strength. It can be used as an indirect measure for tensile strength testing of clay bonded sands.
