The Versatile Auto Hot Shell Tensile Tester (Pneumatic type) is a professional foundry tester for resin coated sand. It is engineered for accurate, repeatable sand testing on the lab bench and shop floor.
Application
The Hot shell strength of sand specimen measured when cured and still in hot condition, Hot Shell Tensile Tester (VHTA) has been designed as a complete unit for forming, curing and breaking the specimen in the same position. After manually filling the sand in the cavity the machine automatically breaks and shows strength reading after a default or user set dwell time. It can be used as a production control device in the shop to test batch of shell sand mix. Requires Pneumatic air supply of 6 Kg/cm2.
