The Sand Rammer is used to prepare a standard 50mm Dia x50 mm height specimen (1" Dia x 1" height specimen optional on demand) and to determine the compactability of prepared molding sand. The sand specimen prepared with sand rammer is generally further used to in various tests such permeability, compressive strength, shear strength, Friability Test etc. It is also used with CO2 (Silicate sand) to ram Tensile and Transverse specimen as well.
